Join Scholars Massey for an information session on the Massey University Doctoral Scholarship and Massey University Alumni Doctoral Scholarship. These scholarships provide successful recipients with $90,000 plus tuition fees over three years and are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, the quality and potential impact of your proposed research, and alignment with Massey's strategic research priorities.

About the Summer Internship:

The 2027 Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time, paid program in Washington, D.C. designed for college students in their second-to-final/penultimate year.

Interns complete three 3-week rotations across core teams: Capital Markets, Asset Management, Financial Solutions and Pension Investments, gaining hands-on financial experience, dedicated mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership.

The program also serves as a direct pipeline to full-time Junior Analyst roles upon graduation.

The Assistance Dogs NZ Trust (ADNZT) Annual Street Appeal needs volunteers for its annual street appeal at sites in Auckland or Wellington.

ADNZT is a registered charitable trust providing purpose-bred and trained assistance dogs to enrich the lives of young New Zealanders living with a range of disabilities.

They are preparing for their Annual Street Collection, which is a part of their biggest fundraising initiative of the year.

They are currently recruiting for volunteers to sign up for a 2 hour shift, on either of the following dates:

> Friday 18 September
> Saturday 19 September

Each volunteer will be given a bucket and official ADNZT bib to wear and they will not be asking customers at sites to sign up for anything. Instead, they are asking for cash donations, Eftpos donations or customers can choose to donate via a QR code.

There will be a staff member who will act as Area Co-ordinator throughout the day and will rotate between a number of sites.

Japan Career Fair in Sydney - event for students who want to work in Japan:

On September 5 and 6, Japanese companies eager to hire students studying at universities in New Zealand and Australia including international and local students who can communicate in Japanese, will gather in Sydney for a career fair featuring company presentations and interviews.

At the Japan Career Fair, you will have the opportunity to:

> Meet recruiters from Japanese companies in person
> Explore positions where you can use your overseas study experience and language skills
> Participate in interviews and potentially receive an offer from a participating company.
> Attend career preparation seminars and receive career advice from Mynavi
> Network and exchange information with other international students.

Students expected to graduate in 2027, recent graduates, and students graduating in 2028 or later are welcome to attend.

Students graduating in 2029 or later may also attend to learn more about participating companies and gather information for future job hunting.

Anyone who speaks Japanese is welcome to attend, regardless of their educational background or study-abroad experience.

Interviews will be conducted by participating companies during the event, giving you a valuable opportunity to secure a job offer while studying abroad.

We recommend registering and submitting your application as soon as possible.

Date & Time: Sat 05 and Sun 06 September, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
