π Dress code: anything Filipino themed (jollibee, bruno mars, vice ganda, etc - anything like filipino!) π΅π
π What: Cancer Society - Relay For Life 2026, you can walk - jog - run - crawl? ποΈ
π When: Saturday, May 2nd 2026 10am-10pm (you can come whenever)
π Where: Forsyth Barr Stadium (enter via GATE E - volunteers will guide you to our booth) Tent site #29 - OFSA (Between the Otago Samoan Students Association and the UoO Med Lab Science Students Association)
π Why: A We're joining Relay For Life to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer! We're joining thousands of others in the unstoppable fight to create a future with less cancer.
With your support, we'll make a real difference for New Zealanders with cancer and their whΔnau. The funds we raise will go to the Cancer Society's supportive care services, education programmes, prevention policy, and life-saving cancer research

In our booth, we will have a banner that everyone is welcome to write the names of your loved ones who have fought, survived and or are still fighting cancer - this banner will be processioned during the Candle Light Ceremony at 7 pm.
Things to bring: β

* Good walking shoes
* Filipino-related dress ups!
* Camping chairs
* Picnic blanket or tarp
* Food: snacks to fuel you for the full 12 hours - non commercial food allowed
* Sunscreen SPF 30+ , sunhats and sunglasses
* Warm clothing (particularly for the evening + Candlelight Ceremony)
* Cash to buy from others who may be still fundraising

* Confetti or glitter
* Camping tents
