With the high-calibre Touch cohort we have at Tahuna, this is a fantastic opportunity for our players to continue developing their skills and prepare for the upcoming Touch season.

Otago Touch are running a U12–U14 Development Programme, designed to help players build their skills, improve their understanding of the game and grow in confidence. Players of all experience levels are welcome, and those looking to trial for District or Otago representative teams this season are especially encouraged to attend.

Our U12–U14 Development Programme is designed to help players build their skills, improve their understanding of the game and gain confidence heading into the season.

The session is open to all experience levels, whether you’re already playing Touch or looking to develop your game further.

Players looking to trial for their district or Otago representative teams this season are especially encouraged to attend this is a great opportunity to sharpen up your skills ahead of trials!

A huge thank you to Bayfield High School for coming along to Tahuna last week and delivering such a great LAP session!

The students had an awesome time getting involved in dodgeball, and it was fantastic to see the Bayfield students step up, lead activities and engage with our students throughout the session.

We really appreciate the time and energy you put into making it such a positive experience for our students.

Thanks again Bayfield; we’re looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow!

Hockey | Season Complete

That’s a wrap on another season of hockey at Tahuna.

Great to see our students finish the season with plenty of effort, teamwork and pride in representing the school.

A big thank you to our players, coaches, staff and whānau for your support throughout the season.

Staff vs Kids Basketball; Friday

Staff vs Kids basketball went down on Friday, and while the kids certainly came ready to compete, the result was never really in doubt…

A combination of years of experience, questionable fitness, unnecessary confidence and absolutely no questionable refereeing saw the STAFF come away with the win!

The kids put up a good fight, but unfortunately they’ll have to wait until the next challenge to try and get their revenge.

1–0 to the staff. We’ll be reminding them of this one for a while.
