On Saturday the Dunedin Railway Station Wild Seasider hosted a group of geologists from the department, who provided a commentary focusing on the geological past of the Dunedin region. Dr. Sophie Briggs and (soon to be Dr) Javi Ruz tolked about geological research and told fascinating tales and anecdotes of the last 200 million years of Dunedin history.
