Our 14th Hanami Cherry Blossom Viewing Party held last Friday was a huge success! Thank you very much for all the lovely comments about the party! All the incredible participants, amazing performers, fantastic Kumamoto earthquake fundraising volunteers, wonderful students from OJSA Otago University Japanese Student Association who helped us to serve sushi to the audience, and last but not least, fabulous Sushi Mall owner and staff members, arigatoo thank you very much for your awesome support and participation!! We couldn't have done it without you! See you in our 15th Hanami Party next year! 🌸🌸🌸

Applications are open for the English Language Assistant Programme in New Caledonia. You teach English in a school there for seven months, 12 hours a week, and live in French the rest of the time.

18 March to 25 October 2027
Around NZD 2,957 net per month
Open to current university students and recent graduates
Applications close 23 October

You teach in English, so you do not need advanced French to apply.
