Hi!! My name is Vianna Karabinas and I am a senior psychology major! I studied abroad in New Zealand this summer of 2026. My time in New Zealand was truly a life changing experience. I was nervous before going, but I quickly felt comfortable and excited once we got there. I learned how quickly strangers can become friends, the beauty of learning about people so different than you, and I got to see God in a new way through relying on Him to be my foundation in a place so unknown- but also in experiencing the vast beauty of the country! I think back fondly on this trip often, and I would do anything to get to live that experience all over again! Hello! My name is Myiah Balbin and I’m a Geosciences major with a minor in Archaeology. I studied abroad with Baylor in New Zealand during summer of 2026 and returned with a whole new appreciation for the life around me. Through this program I learned how to embrace the present and let my curiosity guide me through new cultures respectfully. From pre-departure to post, BiNZ continues to have a lasting impact on my time as a student, leader, traveler, and friend. Hi! My name is Sahasra Vootla, and I’m a Psychology major on the pre-med track! I studied abroad in New Zealand during summer of 2026, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Studying abroad really taught me to pay attention to the world around me and step out of my comfort zone. Not only was New Zealand exciting and educational, it also introduced me to some amazing people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I could not recommend studying abroad more, especially in this beautiful country.
