Professor Kay Fielden shared her extensive knowledge and expertise on mindfulness and how it supports an individual's health and wellbeing. Her session included interactive mindfulness activities and discussion on self-aware and the benefits of mindful behaviour.

Health, Wellbeing and Pastoral Care Conference 2022 Inspires

Dr Kristyl Zagala presented on the research conducted and supported by a national Ako Aotearoa Best Practice Research Award that investigated cross-institutional implementation of the Whare Tapa Rima Student Support Model. The research highlighted the unique and positive impacts of the Whare Tapa Rima model on the holistic support of ethnically and culturally diverse students and staff in a higher education institute.
