Ahakoa nga heke, kei konei tonu ngā piki i ako, i kapo! Tino poho kereru mātou i a koutou katoa!! Tūturu!

A big thank you and congratulations to all our grads! You've dealt with way more on top of the normal student load over these last few years! Thank you for being you and doing the mahi for us all to make our whenua a better place!!!

Hope everyone had a mean week last week!

He mihi nunui ki a tātou katoa MEAN MAURI MEAN. Ki TKKM o Tōku Māpihi Maurea, ki ngā Poumahi, ki te hunga kua tae mai ki te ātea nā, inarā ērā Kaiako nō ALPSS, waihoki ki a koutou kua tuku aroha ki tō tātou nei toi o te Mahuru, te Wiki o te reo Māori, te Rā Kīngitanga – ka mutu pea!

Ki te Kapa Haka o Tōku Māpihi Maurea, ngā pua o te tahatū o te rangi, rerehua, rerepua! E mihi ana!

Ki Te Tari Māori/DVCM – Keshia, Waikohu, Kāneihana, Whetū mā – always for the vision, structure, and hard mahi, me mihi!

Ki te WSU and our MCs, Angel, Māhia, and Stella – for keeping the mauri of the rā as solid and bright as Anahera’s panekoti!

Ki a Waiks and our Te Kāhui Pīrere tuakana, Lanee, Fran, and Keenan – for the heavy lifting hard yards making sure our pīrere are always supported! And for bringing the hāngi down for everyone after!

Ki a Matua Logan rātou ko Whaea Bridget, Whaea Sam and any other kaiako who took the time to come down to the ātea!

Ki ngā whakatau ahiahi journopodmedians, Kaesharn and Harley, and their Kaitango Whakaata, Kat and Tatiana – the perfect intersext between Ted Talk & waiata ngahau and whakatau.

Ki a koe e te tuahine boss lol, Kata, our INTLC/Arts/English Whītiki - for holding the TAM tari down with essay checks while we were on the ātea then sliding in last min to make sure our tauiwi were looked after and, ovc, take centre stage!

Ki a koe e tā, Rānui, he poutuarā mo Te Wānanga o Ngā Kete - always supporting with kupu paihere for ALPSS. Kia ora e hoa. Ko Chess tō tino kēmu? Ehara tērā he mea ohorere!

And ki a koe taku hoa, Reuben, one of our amazing Psych Whītiki – mō te waihanga toi i kapo kupu ai hei whāki aroha, hei whāki ā tātou whakaaro mana Māori – koia kei a koe! 🥰

Tukua te reo Maaori! Tukua mai he kupu, he kīwaha, he whakataukī, he pikitia rānei!

You’ll see us walking around with this canvas - nau mai he kupu Maaori, whakataukī, picture etc - all and any contributions are loved and appreciated!

This art piece is a collaborative celebration of te reo rangatira. We can not wait to have your art displayed for everyone to see!
