Akona Farm Akona Farm is a place of wellbeing, caring and refuge. Presently, we're creating a special garden ca Inaya left to go to university in 2020.

Our story began 16 years ago when a single mum with two small children arrived on a bare lifestyle block. Liz always had a dream to make the farm a refuge for those needing just a few hours in a quiet place to get away from their troubles. The ultimate dream was to create a safe space for anyone needing it. In 2017, Inaya one of Liz's children created Akona Farm as the name for her cut flower visi

on. After some uncertainty over the farm's future Liz bought her mum Pamela's share out and purchased the second home and five acres to keep the farm complete. Out if that was realised the dream of Aniwaniwa (Rainbow) a garden now in the process of becoming a reality.
