So many of the women who've joined Winter Movement Club so far, have messaged me to say that they're excited to start and so glad they signed up because now they don't have to think about it anymore.
The movement and support are locked in. The decision making is done.
I think that says a lot about the season of life so many of the women in my community are in right now (and perhaps the state of the world too???). We're all so mentally exhausted and getting more and more overwhelmed by all the wellness recommendations on social media which seem to require both lots of time and lots of money.
We really want to move more, feel stronger, have more energy, reconnect to ourselves, improve our mobility, support our mental health, and feel more capable in our everyday lives, but by the time we get a breather we just don't know what to do first.
Winter Movement Club aims to provide something different: a supportive, realistic, human way of approaching movement.
Small pockets of movement.
Movement snacks.
30-minute sessions.
Mobility.
Strength.
Pep talks for a low energy day.
Movement over exercise in a single time slot.
I think there's something really amazing about deciding that this winter doesn't have to become another 3 months of slowly disconnecting from yourself and promising you'll “start again” in spring.
