Great news 🎉 Massey University has climbed 15 places in the 2027 QS World University Rankings, reaching 215th in the world, our highest-ever ranking.

We’ve also retained our position as New Zealand’s third-ranked university, reinforcing our reputation for delivering world-class education with global impact.

One of our biggest gains was in Employment Outcomes, where we rose 92 places to rank 173rd globally, reflecting the success of our graduates and the strong career outcomes our students achieve around the world.

As Vice-Chancellor Professor Pierre Venter says: “This result is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the success of our graduates, and our commitment to delivering an outstanding, globally relevant education.”

From Singapore to Surabaya… 🌏

Our 2026 Southeast Asia Roadshow brought Massey University together with universities, industry partners, alumni, students, and New Zealand Embassies and High Commissions across nine cities in five countries over 14 days. The focus was on strengthening long-standing relationships and opening doors to new opportunities in teaching, research, and student pathways.

Open Days in Singapore and Manila also gave us the chance to connect directly with prospective students and their families, sharing what it’s like to study at Massey and what makes us globally recognised.

We’re excited to keep building these partnerships across the region.
