AUT Startup Club Led by students for students. We exist to elevate the startup and SME ecosystem @ AUT and across NZ.

The AUT Start-Up Club (previously known as AUTEIC) exists to elevate the startup & SME ecosystem, both at AUT and across NZ. Through student, faculty & industry collaboration we aim to further demystify business-building processes, increase entrepreneurial literacy, strengthen our professional network, and create better career opportunities for our members. We are an entrepreneurial, business-minded community, led by students, for students. Founded in June 2020 with a growing membership of 150+ students and alumni. We aim to build a long-lasting entrepreneurial student community, both online and on campus. We facilitate connections, promote and host speaker events, encourage our student members, while collaborating with a number of supportive industry folk who are excited to be involved. Follow us and sign up for our members' email list, and we'll keep you up-to-date with relevant events around AUT and Auckland.

Huge thanks to our incredible panellists:

Appreciate you all sharing the raw stories, hard lessons, and actionable advice behind building a startup! 🙌

Special shout-out to Flynn Cupitt (Air NZ) and Rick Luo (MyUniClub) for connecting with students during networking! 🤝

And to everyone who showed up, dropped great questions, and brought the energy—thank you! Stay tuned for what’s coming next. 👀✨
