Great to see so many women at the 'Women in Tech' meetup at the Mountain Club on Wednesday. It was inspiring to hear the four panellist's stories of how they landed in tech. Hopefully the first of many events supporting women in the technology field. Big thanks to Jenni from Both Brains for organising.

👩‍💻👨‍💻⛰️ It's here in Queenstown and the launch of the inaugural launch of Host-Tech - an event where tourism, hospitality and technology collide.
Our own Allie Kettle helped kicked off the event on Monday - facilitating the Technology panel discussion. Then Tuesday was the expo morning where businesses in the tech space showcased their offering to the tourism & hospitality industry.

Our first intake for Machine Learning started a couple weeks back, with students from a range of backgrounds. General Managers of Hotels, Local High School Students, Business Owners and those who simply want to learn more about tech. 💻✍️ A diverse range of those who all want to upskill and learn something new!

We look forward to seeing their progression throughout the 16-Week course!

Have you heard of spaCy? It's one of Gio Qrc's favourite Natural Language Processing (NLP) Libraries. spaCy is a free, open-source library for NLP in Python. It's written in Cython and is designed to build information extraction or natural language understanding. 💻✍️
