Our southern team and ākonga had so much fun dressing up in pink today to support Pink Shirt Day 💗

Pink Shirt Day is all about standing together against bullying, celebrating kindness, inclusion, and creating safe spaces for everyone. It was awesome seeing everyone get involved and show their support for such an important message.

And of course… we couldn’t resist adding in the blooper at the end 😂

🍎➡️☕ An apple for the teacher? Try a coffee instead!

Craighead Diocesan careers advisor Claire Spiers stopped by Ara this week for a fresh brew made by Dual Enrolment student Eva Booth ☕✨
She’s one of 14 ākonga from eight local schools running a mini coffee operation in our hospitality facilities, serving 85 drinks in a day with hot chocolates, lattes and mochas topping the list.

They’ve already made autumn preserves and now they’re adding barista skills to the mix 👏
Catch them at Market Day on our Timaru campus on May 5, the perfect chance to grab a tasty baked treat or a fresh coffee.

Big thanks to the team and tutor Boss for keeping everyone caffeinated 💙
