We have several programmes that are flexible and motivating for those students who do better with practical hands on learning. Students complete Unit Standards which give them a head start towards gaining a New Zealand Certificate in the field of their choice. One of the main reasons AGC Training courses are so popular with students and their parents is that the graduates get jobs. Overall 85% of our graduates find work so we’re confident we are doing a good job. AGC Training excels in providing learning opportunities that reflect real-life experiences. Agriculture students get to work on our specialist training farms so they get a handle on the basics all the way through to technology based skills. For those people interested in animal care there are a selection of courses that can lead to work in a variety of industries such as retail, racing, breeding or even working as a rural animal technician. We also offer trade skills in carpentry, construction and painting which is a growth industry.
