A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our student run café this cohort. Every visit has helped our hospitality students build confidence, develop skills, and gain real world experience.

After 13 weeks of dedicated training and 80 hours of placement experience at local rest homes, these amazing tauira have successfully achieved their NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2.

A truly special moment for our Healthcare Porirua class 💛

Under the guidance of one of our learners, Siosifa, the class created beautiful Lei together. He shared his knowledge by teaching everyone how to make ribbon flowers, carefully place artificial flowers, and understand the meaning behind wearing a Lei.

Together, they created eight Lei, one for each learner. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and reflection on their 13 week journey. They shared their future plans and spoke about how much they will miss one another.

These Lei are more than just creations. They are a meaningful gift to remember their time together.
