نظّمت هيئة المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة (ريادة) بالتعاون مع جامعة البريمي، ممثلةً بمركز ريادة الأعمال والحاضنات، برنامجًا توعويًا في ريادة الأعمال استهدف الكوادر الأكاديمية والإدارية في مؤسسات محافظة البريمي. يستمر البرنامج خمسة أيام ويشمل جلسات ومحاضرات لتعزيز مفاهيم ريادة الأعمال والابتكار واستثمار الفرص، والتعريف بدور المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني. كما يستعرض الفرص والخدمات التي تقدمها "ريادة" لدعم المشاريع الناشئة، ويهدف إلى تمكين المشاركين من نشر ثقافة الابتكار وتعزيز التوجهات الريادية لدى الطلبة والمجتمع، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة داعمة للمشاريع المستدامة وتحقيق أهداف التنمية الاقتصادية في المحافظة
The SME Development Authority (Riyada), in collaboration with University of Buraimi through its Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubators, organized a five-day entrepreneurship awareness program for academic and administrative staff across Al Buraimi Governorate. The program aims to promote entrepreneurial culture, innovation, and self-employment by offering awareness sessions and lectures on entrepreneurship concepts, opportunity identification, and business development. It also highlights the role of SMEs in supporting the national economy and introduces participants to Riyada’s services and initiatives for start-ups. The initiative seeks to empower staff to foster innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students and the community, contributing to sustainable business creation and economic development in Al Buraimi

حصلت جامعة البريمي على الاعتماد الإقليمي ضمن مبادرة الجامعات المعززة للصحة، وذلك برعاية سعادة محافظ البريمي، حيث كرّمت وزارة الصحة المؤسسات التعليمية الحاصلة على الاعتماد.

وجاءت الجامعة من بين ثلاث مؤسسات فقط في سلطنة عُمان نالت هذا الاعتماد، إلى جانب جامعة الشرقية وكلية الخليج، في إنجاز يعكس التزامها ببيئة جامعية صحية ومستدامة وفق المعايير الإقليمية.

ويأتي هذا الإنجاز ضمن تعاون بين وزارة الصحة ووزارة التعليم ومنظمة الصحة العالمية (WHO)، ويؤكد حرص الجامعة على تعزيز صحة ورفاه الطلبة والموظفين عبر مبادرات وبرامج توعوية وصحية.

كما يعزز هذا التتويج سجل الجامعة من الإنجازات، ويدعم دورها في تقديم تجربة جامعية متكاملة تتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040.

University of Buraimi received regional accreditation under the Health Promoting Universities Initiative, under the patronage of the Governor of Al Buraimi, where the Ministry of Health honored accredited higher education institutions.

The university is one of only three institutions in Oman to receive this accreditation, alongside A’Sharqiyah University and Gulf College, reflecting its commitment to a healthy and sustainable campus aligned with regional standards.

The achievement is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and the (WHO), and highlights the university’s efforts in promoting student and staff well-being through health and awareness programs.

It further strengthens the university’s record of achievements and supports its contribution to Oman Vision 2040.

‎نظمت جامعة البريمي عبر معهد جامعة البريمي حلقة تدريبية متخصصة بعنوان "أساسيات الأمن السيبراني"، استهدفت موظفي المديرية العامة للإسكان والتخطيط العمراني بمحافظة البريمي.

‎هدفت الحلقة إلى توضيح المفاهيم الأساسية وأنواع الأصول في الأمن السيبراني، تعزيز الوعي بأنواع الهجمات والإختراقات مع أهمية حماية البيانات والمعلومات، والتعريف بالممارسات الآمنة في الحياة اليومية، إضافة إلى تزويد المشاركين بالمهارات الأساسية للتعامل مع التهديدات الإلكترونية الشائعة.

‎شارك في الحلقة عدد من موظفي الدائرة، حيث تضمن البرنامج محاور عملية حول كيفية استخدام الأنظمة الإلكترونية بشكل آمن، وآليات الوقاية من الهجمات السيبرانية، وأهمية الالتزام بالسياسات المؤسسية في مجال الأمن الرقمي.

‎وأكد القائمون على البرنامج أن هذه المبادرة تأتي ضمن جهود جامعة البريمي في خدمة المجتمع المحلي، وتطوير الكفاءات الحكومية بما يتماشى مع متطلبات التحول الرقمي في السلطنة.



The University of Buraimi Institute organized a specialized training session entitled “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity”, targeting employees of the Directorate General of Housing and Urban Planning in Al Buraimi

The session aimed to clarify basic concepts and types of assets in cybersecurity, raise awareness of different types of attacks and breaches with emphasis on the importance of protecting data and information, and introduce safe practices in daily life. It also provided participants with essential skills to deal with common cyber threats.

A number of employees from the Directorate took part in the session, which included practical modules on how to use electronic systems securely, mechanisms for preventing cyberattacks, and the importance of adhering to institutional policies in the field of digital security.

This initiative comes as part of the University of Buraimi’s efforts to serve the local community and to develop government competencies in line with the requirements of digital transformation in the Sultanate.
