شارك مركز عُمان للهيدروجين بالجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عمان في
الملتقى الخامس للهيدروجين بآخن 2026 في ألمانيا، والذي أقيم يومي 19 و20 مايو 2026، جامعاً نخبة من الباحثين والخبراء الدوليين لمناقشة أحدث تطورات وتقنيات الهيدروجين وسلاسل الإمداد.

وخلال الملتقى، قدّمت المهندسة فاطمة الحجرية ورقة بحثية استعرضت فيها القبول المجتمعي لطاقة الهيدروجين في سلطنة عُمان، مبرزةً الدور المحوري للتوعية وإشراك المجتمع في دعم التحول نحو اقتصاد طاقة مستدام. وتجسد هذه المشاركة التزام المركز بالتميز البحثي وتوسيع آفاق التعاون الدولي لتعزيز حلول الطاقة النظيفة.

ويتوجه المركز بخالص الشكر والتقدير لمنظمي الملتقى والمشاركين على ما أتاحته هذه التظاهرة العلمية من فرص قيّمة للتبادل العلمي والتواصل المهني.

The Oman Hydrogen Centre at GUtech proudly participated in the 5th Aachen Hydrogen Colloquium 2026 ( ) in Germany, held on 19–20 May 2026. The event brought together global experts to discuss the latest advancements in hydrogen technologies.

During the colloquium, Eng. Fatema Al Hajri presented her research on the social acceptance of hydrogen energy in Oman, highlighting the critical role of public awareness and stakeholder engagement in driving the transition toward a green economy. This participation reflects the Centre’s commitment to research excellence and fostering international collaboration for a sustainable future.

The Centre extends its sincere appreciation to the organizers and participants for a successful event filled with valuable scientific exchange and global networking opportunities.

نظّمت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان (جيوتك) لقاءً خاصًا لموظفيها بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك، في أجواءٍ سادتها الألفة والبهجة والضيافة العُمانية الأصيلة.
وأتاح اللقاء فرصةً لتبادل التهاني وتعزيز الروابط بين الزملاء احتفاءً بهذه المناسبة المباركة.

تتألق الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عمان (GUtech) مجددًا باللون الأخضر دعمًا للتوعية بصحة النفسية، وذلك من خلال مبادرة “شمعة أمل” السنوية التي تنظمها حملة “لست وحدك” خلال شهر التوعية بالصحة النفسية لشهر مايو 2026.
منذ انطلاقها في عام 2020، نجحت مبادرة “شمعة أمل” في توحيد المعالم البارزة في سلطنة عمان والمنطقة من خلال إضاءتها باللون الأخضر، وهو اللون المعترف به عالميًا للتوعية بالصحة النفسية. وعلى مر السنين، جمعت المبادرة معالم بارزة تشمل دار الأوبرا السلطانية مسقط، مطارات عمان، مركز عمان للمؤتمرات والمعارض، وحتى برج المملكة في المملكة العربية السعودية، مما خلق رسالة مشتركة للأمل، الشفاء، التعاطف، والتضامن.
يرمز اللون الأخضر إلى النمو، التجدد، التفاؤل، والرفاهية العاطفية. وخلال ذروة الجائحة، أصبحت مبادرة “شمعة أمل” تذكيرًا قويًا بأن لا أحد يعيش في عزلة، مما شجع المجتمعات على التكاتف من أجل الدعم، التفاهم، والإنسانية.
نتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير لشركة عمانتل على دعمها المستمر لهذه المبادرة منذ بداياتها، ولإسهامها في تعزيز أهمية التوعية بالصحة النفسية داخل مجتمعاتنا.

GUTech once again shines green in support of mental health awareness through the annual Light of Hope initiative by the Not Alone Campaign during Mental Health Awareness Month for May 2026.
Since its launch in 2020, Light of Hope has united iconic landmarks across Oman and the region by illuminating them in green, the internationally recognized color of mental health awareness. Over the years, the initiative has brought together landmarks including the Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman Airports, OCEC, and even the Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia, creating a shared message of hope, healing, compassion, and solidarity.
Green symbolizes growth, renewal, optimism, and emotional wellbeing. During the height of the pandemic, Light of Hope became a powerful reminder that no one is alone encouraging communities to come together in support, understanding, and humanity.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Omantel for continuously supporting this initiative since its beginnings and for helping amplify the importance of mental health awareness within our communities.

طلبة الدفعة الثانية من برنامج ماجستير اقتصاد وتكنولوجيا الهايدروجين في الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان (جيوتك) يشاركون حاليًا في الرحلة العلمية الدولية بجامعة إنغولشتات للتكنولوجيا (Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt - THI) في ألمانيا، حيث يجمعون بين الدراسة الأكاديمية والزيارات الميدانية لمختبرات متخصصة وشركات رائدة في مجال الطاقة والهايدروجين الأخضر.

تجربة دولية مميزة تعزز معارف الطلبة وتربط بين الجانب الأكاديمي والصناعي لدعم مستقبل الطاقة المستدامة.

Batch 2 students of the Master of Hydrogen Economics and Technology programme at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) are currently participating in their International Excursion at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) – Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The trip combines academic learning with visits to advanced research labs and leading industry partners in green hydrogen and sustainable energy.

A valuable international experience connecting academia with industry and strengthening students’ knowledge in the future of sustainable energy.

تُبارك الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عمان لخريجي الدفعة الخامسة من برنامج شل نوافذ للعام الأكاديمي ٢٠٢٦/٢٠٢٥، بمناسبة تخرجهم يوم أمس، ١٩ مايو ٢٠٢٦، في مركز عُمان للمؤتمرات والمعارض، تحت رعاية الفاضل أحمد بن سالم بن محمد العبري، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة نماء لشراء الطاقة والمياه.
وتؤكد مشاركة الجامعة في هذا الحدث التزامها المستمر بتمكين الشباب العُماني ودعم المبادرات الوطنية التي تُعزز الابتكار وتُسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في قطاع الطاقة.

The German University of Technology in Oman congratulates the graduates of the Shell Nawafidh Programme’s fifth batch of students for the academic year 2025/2026. Their outstanding achievements were celebrated yesterday, 19 May 2026, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ceremony was held under the esteemed patronage of Mr. Ahmed Salim Mohammed Al Abri, Chief Executive Officer of Nama Power and Water Procurement.
GUtech’s participation in this event underscores its commitment to empowering Omani youth and supporting national initiatives that foster innovation and contribute to sustainable development in the energy sector.

نظمت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عمان بالتعاون مع الجمعية العمانية للمصارف جلسة توعوية عن الصحة المالية بعنوان ‘نحن استقرار مالي افضل’ والتي قدمها الفاضل سيف بن سعيد الراشدي مساعد المدير العام ورئيس الفروع في بنك صحار الدولي. وهدفت هذه الجلسة إلى تعزيز الوعي المالي لدى موظفي وطلبة الجامعة وتمكينهم من اتخاذ القرارات المالية السليمة.

“The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), partnership with the Oman Banks Association (OBA), organized an awareness session on financial health titled ‘Towards Better Financial Stability.’ The session was presented by Mr. Saif bin Said Al Rashdi, Assistant General Manager and Head of Branches at Sohar International. The session aimed raising financial awareness among the university’s staff and students, and empowering them to make sound financial decisions.
