Dorat Al-Khaleej School seeks to create an environment conducive to learning and to provide opportunities for everyone to succeed. Therefore, the school is well equipped with several facilities and resources such as the counselling, learning Support, library, computer lab, media centre, art room, music room, clinic, cafeteria, playing area…etc. Our teachers follow the updated teaching methods and technologies by using the internet, presenting lessons on PowerPoint program and following other innovative techniques to maintain a high quality of performance.
*IGCSE:
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a globally recognized qualification, taken at the Class 10 level. It aims to prepare students for further academic success, and equip students with the skills needed for immediate employment. IGCSE is a comprehensive two-year program, spread over Class 9 and 10, and leads to the final examinations which includes written and oral tests, coursework and practical assessment. Examination sessions are held twice a year, in May/June and October/November. Results are issued in August and January. Cambridge IGCSE is recognised by academic institutions and employers around the world. It encourages learner-centred and enquiry-based approaches to learning. It develops learners' skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving, giving learners excellent preparation for the next stage in their education.
