September 14 - 27, Bataan Peninsula State University hosted the Temasek Foundation Specialist's Community Action and Leadership Exchange (SCALE) Trip 2025, with 9 contingents from Temasek Polytechnic, and 8 BPSU counterpart students from facilitating campus, BPSU Abucay Campus.
The primary objective of Temasek Foundation's TF SCALE (Specialists' Community Action & Leadership Exchange) program is to foster cross-cultural understanding, develop global leadership skills, and build international networks among youth leaders from Singapore and ASEAN countries by engaging them in community action and TVET (Technical, Vocational, Education and Training) projects. Students address regional issues using technology and innovation, gain hands-on skills, and develop a holistic understanding of socio-political, cultural, and economic diversity.
Welcome program was organized during the first day at the University Research, Extension, Development and Innovation Center (UREDIC) audio - visual room at Bangkal, Abucay, Bataan.
Gracing the event were the BPSU Director for International Relations - Dr. Joanne Lobrino, BPSU Director for Alumni Relations - Dr. Normita M. Lugtu, BPSU Director of the Center for Alternative Flexible Teaching-Learning and Innovative Instructions (CAFTLII) - Dr. Lourdes S. Santos, Campus Director - Dr. Walter G. Valdez, Campus Chairperson of Office of Student Affairs and Services- BPSU Abucay Campus - Ms. Herren Donna M. Daag, the faculty - facilitators, and members of Sining ng Lahing Peninsulares - BPSU Abucay Campus.
Institutional messages were delivered via video recording from Vice President for Student and Alumni Services - Prof. Adrian Perdio, and through a courtesy visit to the University President - Dr. Ruby B. Santos - Matibag.

Closing the program by insights sharing, words of gratitude, evaluation, and appreciation to all the participants and facilitators. Assisted by the campus' Dean of Instruction - Dr. Dharell B. Siano and BPSU Director for International Relations - Dr. Joanne Lobrino, everyone from Temasek Polytechnic delegations up to Bataan Peninsula State University contingents, were recognized.
