On January 15, 1981, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐨 𝟏𝟕𝟕𝟖, issued by then-President Ferdinand E. Marcos, formally established DMMMSU. Today, the University acknowledges this defining act with gratitude while honoring the generations of educators, personnel, students, alumni, and communities who continue to shape its story.

𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐒𝐋𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐒𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚

On September 15, 2026, the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University–South La Union Campus (DMMMSU-SLUC) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) strengthened its commitment to transparency, accountability, and quality public service through the distribution, receipt, and posting of the official Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) and Citizen’s Satisfaction Measurement (CSM) Compliance Posters.

The official ARTA and CSM posters were distributed to the College as part of the university’s continuing efforts to ensure that information regarding government service standards, citizen feedback, and compliance requirements remain visible and accessible to all students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.

Through the participation of the DMMMSU-SLUC CAS Faculty and personnel, headed by the College Dean, Dr. Raquel D. Quiambao, posters were properly posted within the CAS premises where they can readily be viewed by the public. Their prominent display serves to inform stakeholders about the College’s commitment to efficient, responsive, transparent, and citizen-centered service.

The posting activity also reinforces the importance of public awareness and participation in improving government services. Through these initiatives, CAS encourages its stakeholders to become informed about their rights and responsibilities as clients of public service and to actively provide feedback on the quality of services they receive.

The said activity reflects DMMMSU-SLUC CAS’s unending support for institutional policies and national standards promoting good governance, service excellence, transparency, and accountability.

With the official ARTA and CSM Compliance Posters now prominently displayed, the College reiterates its commitment to delivering quality services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement for the benefit of the DMMMSU community and its stakeholders.
