As part of the Teachers' Day celebration held yesterday at Golden West Colleges, Inc., students came together to express their love and appreciation through a heartfelt musical performance led by the GWC Performing Arts members.

Their voices echoed messages of gratitude and joy as they performed With a Smile of Eraserheads, Handog of Florante, Salamat of Yeng Constantino, and Mapa of SB19 with revised lyrics dedicated to their teachers.

Each song carried a special meaning, reflecting the studentsโ€™ admiration and deep respect for their mentors who continue to inspire them every day. The serenade was more than just music, it was a heartfelt tribute to the people who make learning truly meaningful.

The celebration began with a touching serenade prepared by the students, filling the venue with warmth and gratitude. A symbolic salute followed, honoring the teachersโ€™ dedication, patience, and hard work in shaping young minds.

Cheers and laughter filled the atmosphere as colorful confetti rained down, marking the joyful spirit of the occasion.

Congratulations to the Golden West Colleges Performing Arts-Dance Group!

The Golden West Colleges Performing Arts-Dance Group was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the recently concluded 2025 Inter-Collegiate Athletic Competition โ€“ Powerdance Competition.

The group is composed of 11 students from various academic programs, guided by their dedicated adviser, Ms. Luielyn Raguindin. Each member showcased outstanding talent, skill, and discipline in a performance witnessed by a large audience at the Alaminos City Complex, Pangasinan, and streamed live on Facebook.

Their hard work, perseverance, dedication, and determination paved the way to this well-deserved achievement.

Thank you for your tireless efforts, and once again, congratulations on this remarkable success!

The GWC Performing Arts Club is excited to announce that auditions are open for talented performers. We invite you to showcase your skills and join us in celebrating the arts.

โ€ข Open to all GWC students interested in singing and dancing.

Audition Dates:
August 18, 2025
