Today, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the Proclamation of Officers, organized by the Student Electoral Commission and the Office of Student Affairs, formally proclaimed the newly elected College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (CASSED) Student Council officers for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

The following students were officially proclaimed as members of the incoming CASSED Student Council:

- 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 – 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭

The newly proclaimed officers officially assume their duties effective today, marking the beginning of their leadership and service to the CASSED student body.

Alongside this milestone, the 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, was proclaimed as the President of the Supreme Student Council, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 was proclaimed as the Vice President for Internal Affairs of the Supreme Student Council, and 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐎𝐌 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐝𝐚𝐨 was proclaimed as the Secretary of the Supreme Student Council for Academic Year 2026–2027.

When we filed for candidacy last year, curiosity and anticipation could be seen in the glances in our eyes—but the hint of uncertainty was always there.

Being a student leader did not come with immediate gratification or easy rewards. It was a long and rocky journey, one that did not promise recognition, only the responsibility to be there when needed. From organizing activities and events, to responding to different student concerns while balancing our own priorities, it was definitely no easy trip.

But along the way, building connections, meeting new people, and simply being present for one another made the process a lot kinder. Pressuring times turned into meaningful experiences, and tedious work turned into shared purpose. It became something far greater than what we first expected.

Now, as we close this chapter and begin a new one, we hold on to one hope: that more students will be inspired to lead and step up for CASSED. Throughout the year, we saw you—and the potential you carry. If you are feeling doubt, know that if we did it, you definitely can too.

To all CASSED students, faculty, and administrators, this commitment has always been for you.
