๐๐ A LITTLE HELP CAN BECOME A GREAT BLESSING ๐๐
Last Friday, September 25, 2026, we had the opportunity to bring the goods we collected through our Donation Drive to Sitio Target, Barangay Sapang Bato, Angeles City, and share them with our brothers and sisters from the Aeta community who were affected by the recent Habagat.
On behalf of the STI College Angeles National Service Training Program (NSTP), I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt gratitude to all our 1st Year NSTP students, SHS students, and all STI College Angeles students who generously shared whatever they could give.
Thank you so much for every donation. Whether it was big or small, every single item became part of something meaningful. All the goods we collected were distributed to the families in Sitio Target.
I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Academic Head, Mr. Louie A. Ruiz, for approving our Donation Drive activity for the families affected by the recent Habagat. Thank you, Sir Louie, for giving us the opportunity and support to turn this simple initiative into an opportunity to serve and help others.
My heartfelt thanks as well to our NSTP Teachers, SHS Class Advisers, and all the teachers and staff who supported and helped make this donation drive possible. Your time, effort, encouragement, and willingness to help truly made a difference.
A special thank you to Ms. Jay Ann Tongol for helping and accompanying us on our way to Sitio Target and for assisting in the distribution of the relief goods. Your presence and willingness to help truly meant a lot. โค๏ธ
I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to SK Chairwoman Alyssa Castro of Barangay Sapang Bato and Barangay Kagawad Joey Manalo for assisting us during our visit to Sitio Target. Thank you for helping us reach and serve our Aeta brothers and sisters.
The donations may not have been as many as we hoped for, but for those who received them, they were already a great blessing.
I always believe that there is no such thing as a big or small gift when it comes from someone who genuinely wants to help. There is also no such thing as a big or small act of kindness when it is received by someone who knows how to be grateful.
Sometimes, what we have may seem little or insufficient. But when many people come together and share what they have, the little becomes more, and the small becomes something greater.
And perhaps one of the most important things we should always remember is this:
Even if we are struggling, there will always be someone who may be struggling even more and in greater need of help.
Let us never use our own difficulties as a reason to stop helping others. We do not need to have much before we can give. Sometimes, the little we are willing to share can mean so much to someone who has even less.
As Mother Teresa reminds us:
โIf you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.โ
St. Mother Teresa
This simple message reminds us that we do not have to do something grand to make a difference. Even one small act of kindness can become a source of hope for someone.
Thank you to everyone who became part of this simple act of love, service, and compassion. โค๏ธ
May this experience remind us that service is not measured by how much we give, but by how much love and sincerity we put into giving.
Together, even our little acts of kindness can become a great blessing.
๐ Thank you, STI College Angeles community, for sharing, caring, and serving.
