The University Research Office (URO) conducted the 26th University Research Colloquium on June 4 via Zoom teleconference, gathering faculty researchers, academic practitioners, and members of the Holy Angel University (HAU) community in a celebration of scholarly excellence and research innovation.
The colloquium served as a dynamic platform for the dissemination of completed research studies across various disciplines, highlighting the Universityโs commitment to advancing knowledge creation and academic inquiry.
The plenary session featured a presentation by Dr. Jean Paolo G. Lacap titled "Research Writing and Artificial Intelligence: Advancing Research Productivity and Efficiency.โ The session explored the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and academic research, offering participants valuable insights on how emerging technologies can enhance research productivity while upholding academic integrity and scholarly rigor.
The event continued with parallel research presentation sessions organized into five thematic tracks: Engineering and Sustainable Technologies; Computing and Education; Nursing, Allied Health, and Behavioral Sciences; Humanities, Literature, and Social Sciences; and Business, Tourism, and Hospitality Studies.
As the University continues to strengthen its research ecosystem, the successful conduct of the 26th University Research Colloquium reaffirms the Universityโs dedication to fostering a strong research culture that promotes innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence.
