Holy Angel University has more than 16,000 students, making it one of the biggest schools in Central Luzon. Nepomuceno, it is considered the Philippines' first Catholic school founded by a layman instead of the usual diocese or religious congregation. Theology 101 students took part in the Bible Conference 2026 on September 18 at the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels, centered on the theme, โ€œEternity Begins Now: The Four Last Things โ€“ Knowing Our End, Transforming Our Present through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition.โ€

Facilitated by Rev. Fr. Gian Sagum, the conference invited students to reflect on the Four Last Thingsโ€”Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hellโ€”in the light of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. The discussion emphasized that these are not merely realities associated with the end of earthly life, but profound teachings that invite Christians to examine their choices, deepen their faith, and live with greater purpose in the present.

Centered on the theme โ€œExperiencing Godโ€™s Love through the Sacraments,โ€ Rev. Fr. Angel Amir Gamboa emphasized that the sacraments are living encounters with Godโ€™s love rather than mere rituals or requirements of faith.
