Today, October 16, 2026, the City College of Angeles officially sends off the Soaring Phoenix delegation for the 15th Local Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (LCUAA) National Games, set on October 24 to 30, 2026, in Binalonan, Pangasinan.

CCA President Dr. Janet B. Lazatin and Executive Vice President Mr. Beejay A. Sebastian delivered messages of support and inspiration to the athletes, coaches, and delegation. Through the generosity of Angeles City Mayor Hon. Carmelo B. Lazatin II, the athletes also received shoes, sports equipment, jerseys, and other essential materials in preparation for the competition.

𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗖𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

City College of Angeles continues to strengthen its culture of preparedness and safety through the Basic Life Support, Bomb Threat Awareness, and Violence Prevention in Schools Seminar held on September 29, 2026.

The activity brought together members of the CCA Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee (CCADRRMC) from its various response teams, providing them with essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to medical emergencies and potential safety threats within the school environment.

CCA extends its appreciation to the resource speakers from the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) and EOD Angeles City for sharing their expertise, as well as to all CCADRRMC members, organizers, and participants who contributed to the success of the activity.

Through continuous learning, training, and collaboration, CCA strengthens its capacity to respond, protect, and serve its community.

Before Bulung ning Diwa takes center stage, get to know the story and literary journey of Tatang Francisco M. Guinto, poeta laureado, whose words and contributions continue to enrich Kapampangan poetry.

After its postponement, Bulung ning Diwa finally takes center stage on October 1, 2026, bringing together Kapampangan literary voices in celebration of poetry, language, and culture.

Organized by Ing Akademyang Kapampangan, Inc. (AKKAP), one of the oldest literary and cultural organizations dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Kapampangan heritage, the event will honor Mr. Francisco Guinto, poeta laureado, for his contributions to the richness and continuing development of Kapampangan poetry.

The program will also feature poesia performances by fellow poeta laureado, celebrating the enduring beauty and vitality of Kapampangan literature.

City College of Angeles (CCA) welcomes the continued care and support of the Local Government Unit of Angeles City and the generosity of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in advancing opportunities for the CCA community.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II led the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with PAGCOR for the construction of additional classrooms for CCA, with PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Al Tengco.

The initiative highlights the City Government’s continuing commitment to strengthening CCA as an institution of accessible and quality higher education for Angeleño students, while PAGCOR’s generous support will help provide expanded and more conducive learning spaces for the growing CCA community.

CCA extends its appreciation to the City Government of Angeles and PAGCOR for their continued investment in education and in the future of Angeleño learners.

This triumph is a testament to the determination, hard work, and unwavering pursuit of excellence of our graduates, as well as the dedication of the faculty and mentors who guided them throughout their academic journey.
