The School of Business and Accountancy overflows with immense pride as we celebrate our fellow Dolphin, Godwin Pring, a fifth-year accountancy student, for being named one of the Region 3 Finalists in the 59th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP)!

This recognition is beyond well-deserved. As one of the most prominent and inspiring figures in the SBA department, he shaped student dialogue as an insightful student journalist and champion student welfare as an impassioned student leader, while consistently excelling academically. 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Today marks yet another recalling of a tragic event, the death anniversary of our former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. in the year 1983 at the Manila International Airport, the moment that put an exclamation point to the revolution of the Filipino People against the Marcos Dictatorship. His unfortunate passing was never in vain, for it ignited the hearts of the Filipinos to stand united, which led to what is now famously known as the 1986 People Power Revolution.

Let us view this day not just an opportunity to unwind, relax, and clear your calendar for activities; rather, treat it as what it rightfully is, the anniversary of a man who stepped off a plane knowing he might never walk back on, trading his one and only life so that the Philippines keep its cherished freedom. May not we forget the blood, the spirit had to be sacrificed to avail such a luxury.
