๐‘๐„๐‚๐€๐ | New stars stepped into their reign as Our Lady of Fatima University - Antipolo City Campus crowned its newest Mr. and Ms. OLFU with the College of Medical Laboratory Scienceโ€™s (CMLS) Sean Gideon Magistrado and Azra Belle Andres securing the top titles in this yearโ€™s edition.

Meanwhile, Robert Angelo Salonga of the College of Physical Therapy and Angel Honey Gaynillo of the Senior High School Department placed as first runners-up.

Blu Habla from the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management (CHIM) โ€“ International Tourism Management and Angelica Fae Betil from the College of Nursing placed as second runners-up.

Completing the set of royalties were Care Saculles and Angela Peรฑalosa from the College of Arts and Sciences - Psychology Department who were named as third runners-up.

Isang siglo at dalawampuโ€™t walong taon na ang nakaraan mula nang unang iwinagayway ang malaya at matingkad na watawat ng Pilipinas.

Mula sa dugo at buhay na inalay ng ating mga ninuno at magigiting na katipunero upang makatamdan ang dating pinapangarap lamang na kalayaan mula sa mapang-api ng pamumuno ng pamahalaang Espanyolโ€”naitatag ang haligi ng ating kasaysayan at pag-asa.

Ang alab ng dugong sakripisyo ng bawat bayani na isinulong ang ating kalayaan ang siyang nagpamana ng lakas at tapang sa mga anak ng katipunero na protektahan ito.

Nalupig man nang mas matagal pa sa panahon na tayo ay naging malaya, ang ating kasaysayan ang siyang patnubay na muli at patuloy nating malalampasan ang mga kasalukuyang daing para sa payapang bukas.

Sa pagtuklas ng ating kasaysayan, pinatutunayan nating hindi tayo muling maaabuso. Sa paggalang sa nakaraan, binibigyang-pugay natin ang bawat buhay na nag-alay para sa kalayaan. Sa pagyakap sa ating kultura, mas nakikilala at minamahal natin ang ating pagkakakilanlan.
