Grief fills our hearts as we bid farewell to our cherished teacher, Maโ€™am Yana. Through the years, she devoted herself to nurturing young minds and guiding her students with unwavering dedication. In this time of sorrow, the Social Sciences Society family extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to her family, friends, and everyone whose lives were blessed by her presence.

Maโ€™am Yana was a gentle light within our communityโ€”someone who effortlessly brought sunshine and laughter to her fellow faculty members. To her students, she was far more than a teacher. Her words carried wisdom, her patience carried care, and her lessons reached deeper than knowledge, touching the hearts of those fortunate enough to learn from her.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, the kindness she shared and the inspiration she planted will continue to grow in the lives she shaped. The echo of her guidance will remain in every student who carries her lessons forward. Maโ€™am Yana, you will forever be remembered and dearly missed. May you rest peacefully.

Ang EDSA People Power Revolution ay hindi lamang alaala ng nakaraan kundi patuloy na hamon sa kasalukuyan. Isa itong patunay na kapag nagbuklod ang mamamayan, kayang ituwid ang landas ng bayan at ibalik ang dangal ng demokrasya. Sa paggunita natin sa pagbagsak ng diktadura ni Ferdinand Marcos Sr., inaalala rin natin ang tapang ng mga tumindig para sa kalayaan.

Higit sa seremonya, ang diwa ng EDSA ay isang paninindigan. Patuloy nating isulong ang katotohanan. Palaganapin ang edukasyong nagpapalaya sa isip at nagpapalalim ng pagmamahal sa bayan.

Sapagkat ang demokrasya ay hindi basta ipinapasaโ€”ito ay sama-samang binabantayan, pinoprotektahan, at araw-araw na ipinaglalaban. At sa bawat pagtatangkang itoโ€™y pahinain, lalo natin itong pagtitibayin. โœŠ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ
