The College of Physical Therapy Stands as One in Celebrating National Disability Rights Week 2026.

The College of Physical Therapy proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Disability Rights Week 2026, embracing this year's theme:

โ€œRights First, Legislation Forward โ€“ Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development."

This celebration reminds us that every person deserves equal opportunities, accessible healthcare, inclusive education, and the chance to participate fully in society. As future and practicing physical therapists, we remain committed to empowering persons with disabilities through compassionate care, evidence-based rehabilitation, advocacy, and the promotion of their rights and dignity.

Inspired by the legacy of Apolinario Mabini, whose life exemplified resilience, courage, and unwavering service despite disability, let us continue to build communities where inclusion is not merely an aspiration but a reality.

Together, let us champion accessibility, celebrate abilities, and create a future where everyone belongs, everyone participates, and everyone thrives.
