2026 NATIONAL HERITAGE MONTH

As the nation celebrates the National Heritage Month this May, we proudly share our official entry to the 2026 Digital Poster Competition. While the piece by 2nd-year student John Benedict Ortiz did not place among the winners, we believe it still deserves recognition for the story it tells about Filipino identity, memory, and hope. We also thank Likha Kasangga for the support, coordination, and encouragement.

At the heart of the poster is a child reading about Filipino culture, symbolizing the next generation carrying our heritage forward. Surrounding him are images of our ancestral roots, indigenous music, weaving, poetry, and Filipino traditions such as Bayanihan, Pagmamano, and Harana. Also featured are the Paoay Church and our national heroes, representing identity and nationhood. The colors mirror the Philippine flag, while Filipino workers and students stand below, looking toward a future that balances progress and preservation.

More than an artwork, this poster is a reflection of how our roots continue to shape our present and guide our future.

📣 Admission Updates 📣

The last day of admission applications is on May 15.

For applicants who still need to take the AiTECH College Admission Test (AiCAT), here are the final test dates:

🗓️ April 25
🗓️ May 9
🗓️ May 19

Check your email regularly for your test schedule and important instructions.

For those who successfully passed the AiCAT, interviews will start on April 27, Monday and will be conducted every Monday to Wednesday until further notice.

💜 Building Safe Spaces Starts within our Institution
AiTECH recently held a Safe Spaces Act Orientation for administrative staff and faculty, including our dedicated part-time instructors.

The session, conducted by GAD Focal Person Ms. Christianne Vitug, highlighted the importance of understanding RA 11313 and following proper protocols, especially for staff handling student and graduate transactions as well as instructors managing training and internship.

The discussions also emphasized that safety extends beyond the classroom, protecting AiTECH students on campus and employees in their interactions at work and in daily life.

We sincerely thank all offices involved - the Office of the President, the College, the Registrar, the Administration and Finance Office, the Library, and IDEA Fablab - for making this initiative a success.

With this, AiTECH takes a major step in institutionalizing CODI, reinforcing our commitment to safe, respectful and inclusive spaces for all.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: Academic Break & Holy Week Schedule

Please be informed that the academic break for the 2nd semester starts today, March 30. Classes will resume on Monday, April 6.

Administrative offices will remain open on limited capacity until Wednesday, April 1. Meanwhile, the campus will be closed on April 2–4 in observance of the Holy Week. Kindly organize your visits and transactions accordingly.

As we enter this sacred season, may it be an opportunity for reflection and meaningful renewal. May the Holy Week inspire peace, renewal, and deeper faith in our hearts.
