The College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences mourns the passing of a guiding light, a dear mentor, and a faithful steward of our waters, Dr. Joebert D. Toledo, Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Fisheries.

He spent his life nurturing the very life of our seas, lifting up every student and professional he met, and showing us how to serve with both wisdom and heart. His footsteps may fade from our shores, but his legacy will flow on like the endless tide, guiding us always.

Pascua, a distinguished CSU Scholar, earns his second doctoral degree. He will be conferred the degree of Doctor of Fisheries Technology, major in Aquaculture, by the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology during its commencement exercises on June 28, 2026, in Iloilo City.

Dr. Pascua will graduate Summa Cum Laude with Highest Academic Distinction, an honor reserved for graduates who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance throughout their doctoral studies. The Cagayan State University Aparri Campus โ€“ College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) is proud to announce the opening of its In-House Fisheries Professional Licensure Exam (FPLE) Review Sessions, dedicated to helping our graduates conquer the upcoming FPLE 2026 on October 1 and 2, 2026. This specialized review program is completely OPEN to all BS Fisheries graduates who are ready to take the next big step toward becoming Registered Fisheries Professional (RFP).
