La Consolacion College Baao, Inc. commenced the first day of its week-long In-Service Training Program at the Audio-Visual Room on June 1, 2026, with a strong focus on enhancing curriculum implementation, instructional planning, and teaching effectiveness in preparation for the new academic year.

The day's sessions centered on the development and alignment of Learning Plans, Curriculum Maps, and Scope and Sequence, alongside discussions on effective methodologies and instructional strategies. Faculty members also revisited key updates on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum and the implementation of the Trimester System to ensure a cohesive and responsive learning experience for all students.

This professional development initiative underscores the College’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence. Through continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, LCC Baao empowers its educators to deliver quality Augustinian education that nurtures both competence and character.

As the training continues throughout the week, the institution remains dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, growth, and lifelong learning in service of its learners and the wider community.

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝘿𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨

The S.U.R.A.T Publication proudly announces the achievement of Janelle Ruth Monay Salinas, Class of 2026 and former SCI-Tech Editor/Writer, who has qualified as a DOST Undergraduate Scholar for 2026.

The Department of Science and Technology–Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) reported a passing rate of 8.71%, with 8,108 qualifiers out of 97,617 takers nationwide, along with 392 potential qualifiers. The examination for the scholarship was held on February 21, 2026. This remarkable distinction places Ms. Salinas among the nation’s brightest young minds.

Her success reflects not only academic excellence but also the guiding principles of Unitas (Unity), Caritas (Charity), and Veritas (Truth) values deeply embedded in LCCB’s holistic Catholic-Augustinian education.

The S.U.R.A.T. Publication and the LCCB community extend heartfelt congratulations in Janelle’s remarkable accomplishment. Her achievement stands as an inspiration for fellow LCCians, proving that with faith, discipline, and values-driven education, extraordinary opportunities can be attained.

La Consolacion College Baao, Inc. successfully conducted the 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the Audio Visual Room, gathering faculty moderators and student organization advisers in preparation for the opening of Academic Year 2026–2027.

Anchored on the theme, “𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴: 𝘍𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴,” the training featured meaningful sessions facilitated by 𝐌𝐫𝐬. Through this initiative, moderators were equipped with essential skills and insights to strengthen leadership, promote inclusive participation, and guide student organizations in living out the Augustinian values of unity, service, and excellence throughout the coming school year.

𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘

Today, the Church celebrates Pentecost Sunday — the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary, marking the birth of the Church and the fulfillment of Christ’s promise.

Filled with the Holy Spirit, the Apostles were transformed from fear to courage, going forth to proclaim the Good News to all nations. Pentecost reminds us that the same Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and renew the faithful each day.

As Scripture reminds us:

“𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵.” — 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘴 2:4

May this Pentecost renew in us the fire of faith, the spirit of unity, and the courage to live as witnesses of Christ’s love and truth.

Selected faculty members from the Kindergarten to Grade 6 and Senior High School departments of La Consolacion College Baao, Inc. participated in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝙋𝙀𝘼𝘾 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣-𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙀𝙏) held from 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝟮𝟮–𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝘼𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮.

The training served as an important academic preparation for the coming school year, equipping educators with updated instructional strategies, strengthened teaching approaches, and clearer learning directions responsive to the evolving educational landscape.

For the 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 department, the sessions focused on “𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘮,” highlighting learner-centered instruction, curriculum alignment, competency-based learning, and future-ready educational practices that better prepare students for higher education, employment, and lifelong learning.
