Every storm — whether it floods our streets or quietly shakes our peace — tests how much we can stand. But sometimes, it’s not just our homes that take the hit; it’s our minds that falter, our hearts that ache, and our strength that feels like it’s slipping away.

As our nation endures the wrath of nature; from the typhoons that strike Luzon and Visayas to the earthquakes that shake Cebu, Davao, and nearby provinces — the Filipino spirit continues to rise.

Resilience has always been our story. But true strength also means knowing when to reach out for help. 𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

This 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆, may we remember that access to mental health care is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. Because healing isn’t just about surviving the storm — it’s about finding the courage to shine through it, and letting others find your light.

This initiative is approved by the University President. Hence, everyone is encouraged to join and turn our university into a wave of blue.

Because blue isn’t sadness; it’s strength, serenity, and solidarity. So throw on your blues, strike a pose, and stand for mental wellness.
