▪ Asynchronous mode of learning
▪ Faculty members who are not under VSL status may avail themselves of a work-from-home arrangement.
▪ Faculty members under VSL status and all non-teaching personnel shall report onsite and observe their regular work schedules.

Sa mga nakaraang araw, nakaranas tayo ng mga bagyo at sama ng panahon na nakaapekto sa iba't ibang bahagi ng La Union. Kaya nais ng 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗨𝗦𝗖) na kumustahin ang bawat Ka-Don Mariano.

Sa pamamagitan ng 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸, nais naming malaman ang inyong kalagayan, mga naging karanasan, at kung paano kayo naapektuhan ng mga nangyari. Nais din naming malaman kung may mga pangangailangan o concerns na maaari naming isaalang-alang.

Apektado man kayo ng bagyo o hindi, mahalaga ang inyong sagot. Sa pamamagitan ng inyong mga sagot, mas matutukoy namin kung ano ang inyong mga pangangailangan at kung paano mas makakatugon ang USC sa inyong kalagayan.

Pursuant to the memorandum issued by the Office of the President, the 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, originally scheduled on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟮–𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, has been rescheduled to 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟴–𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This adjustment follows the recent suspension of classes due to inclement weather and typhoons that disrupted the regular academic calendar. The revised schedule will allow sufficient time for the completion of required instructional activities while ensuring the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations.

Students are advised to report onsite on their assigned examination dates. Faculty members assigned to administer the examinations are likewise expected to report onsite.

With the viral DMMMSU ID Check template circulating online, the University Student Council immediately coordinated with the University Legal Office to clarify the proper implementation of the University's policy on the use of the DMMMSU name and logo.

Based on the clarification provided, the use of the DMMMSU name and logo without proper authorization is prohibited under the University's existing policy. This helps protect the University's identity, reputation, and official branding.

Pursuant to the advisory issued by the University Administration, asynchronous mode of learning shall be implemented on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Should the concerned Local Government Units (LGUs) or the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) issue an advisory declaring the suspension of classes and/or work, this advisory shall be automatically rescinded in compliance with the said directive.

Pursuant to the Executive Order No. 43 and in view of the prevailing weather conditions, PGLU hereby announces the suspension of classes in all DMMMSU campuses on August 6, 2026.

The suspension covers all academic activities for the said date.

Pursuant to the directive of University President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., classes at all levels, including tertiary, across all campuses and operating units of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University shall shift to asynchronous modalities starting at 12:00 noon today, August 3, 2026.

This measure is being implemented in view of the heavy rainfall outlook under Orange Warning in La Union due to Tropical Cyclone “Luis,” as issued by DOST-PAGASA.

While classes will shift to asynchronous learning, personnel shall continue with their work onsite.

DMMMSU prioritizes the safety and security of its students while ensuring the continuity of learning and university operations.
