Embracing this mission, the Oriental Mindoro Tourism Officers and Coordinators Association, Inc. (OMTOCA) rolled up their sleeves for a meaningful tree planting activity at the Roxas Municipal Sanitary Landfill in San Mariano, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro. 🌱✨️

The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro led by Governor Bonz Dolor, the Provincial Tourism Office headed by Dr. Don Stepherson Calda, and the whole OMTOCA would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the Municipality of Roxas, especially to Mayor Jerwin Dimapilis and Municipal Administrator/Tourism Officer Johnell Siñel for their gracious hosting of the 3rd Quarterly Meeting, Familiarization Tour and Community Extension Service activities.

​Focused on the core themes of Diwa (Spirit), Anyo (Form), and Gunita (Memory), this intensive training equips our team with essential curation knowledge to better safeguard our community's history, refine our exhibit storytelling, and transform the Museon Tahanan ng Bayan into a truly immersive sanctuary for our shared culture and heritage.

[ FULL STORY ] 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗔𝗡, 𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗔

Sa isang ganap na 46-minutong State of the Municipality Address (SOMA), buong pagmamaking inilatag ni Punongbayan Allan A. Roldan ang mga makabuluhang tagumpay at transpormasyon ng Baco, mula sa dating hindi gaanong napapansing pamayanan tungo sa isang mas nakikilala at progresibong bayan, Agosto 07, 2026.

Sa kaniyang ulat sa bayan, binigyang-diin ni Mayor Roldan ang mga kapansin-pansing pagbabago sa larangan ng imprastraktura, pangkabuhayan, at iba pang mga pampublikong proyekto na direktang pinakikinabangan ng bawat mamamayan. Ang dating payak na lokalidad ay patuloy nang nagiging sentro ng oportunidad at modernisasyon dahil sa mga naisakatuparang pagawaing bayan.

Taos-pusong ipinabot ng Punongbayan ang kaniyang pasasalamat sa Pambansang Pamahalaan, mga Pambansang Ahensya, Sangguniang Bayan, Department Heads, at sa 27 Sangguniang Barangays na naging katuwang at naghandog ng walang sawang suporta sa bawat adhikain. Malaking pagkilala rin ang kaniyang ibinigay sa lahat ng mga kawani ng pamahalaan, lalong higit sa Mayor's Extension Office (MEO), gayundin sa Office of the Municipal Mayor at Municipal Tourism Office sa kanilang dedikasyon at mahusay na pamamahala na nagpanatili sa kaayusan at tagumpay ng buong programa.

Naging mas makabuluhan din ang naturang kaganapan sa pagdalo ng natatanging panauhin na si Rep. Jude Acidre ng Tingog Partylist. Kasabay nito, pinarangalan at pinasalamatan din ni Mayor Roldan ang kaniyang mga kasama sa pamamahala, ang mga kapwa Punongbayan, at ang kaniyang pamilya na patuloy na nagbibigay ng lakas at inspirasyon upang maglingkod nang tapat at may malasakit sa Bayan ng Baco.

Sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang talumpati, muling pinagtibay ng Punongbayan ang kaniyang pangako na ipagpapatuloy ang mga reporma at proyektong mag-aangat sa antas ng pamumuhay ng bawat mamamayan. Pinatunayan ng ginanap na SOMA na ang tunay na kaunlaran ay nakakamit sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa at pamamahalang buong pusong naglilingkod sa bayan para sa mamamayan.
