The STI West Negros University – College of Criminal Justice Education is honored to receive a Certificate of Utilization from the DILG Bacolod City Local Governance Resource Center in recognition of the official utilization of the College's training modules for the GABAY (Gabay at Asenso para sa Barangay Alerto at Yaman ng Bayan) Training Program.

Notably, these modules are recognized as the first and only comprehensive training modules developed by a higher education institution to be officially adopted and utilized for the GABAY Training Program for Barangay Tanods in the Philippines. This milestone highlights the College's pioneering role in developing competency-based learning resources that strengthen the professionalism and operational readiness of Barangay Tanods.

The College also proudly received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of its invaluable support and generous provision of school facilities during the conduct of the GABAY Training Program. This distinction reflects the College's unwavering commitment to community engagement, collaborative partnerships, and public service through education.

These recognitions reaffirm the College's dedication to excellence in criminal justice education, innovation in extension services, and meaningful partnerships with government agencies in advancing safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
