Dear fellow LCCians and Alumni,
No words can describe in full how the super typhoon Odette has wrought havoc, damages, difficulties, physical and emotional trauma to our kababayans. But let's not go far. In Negros alone, the damage especially in Southern Negros is of great magnitude! Aside from roofs blown from their houses, some houses are totally damaged... they have no food, water and power! Government's response is too inadequate and were it not for private initiatives, including that of the Presidential candidates, our Kababayans' sufferings might had become worse.
It is in this light that our school, in coordination with the various parish priests in the area, has organized ODETTE RELIEF OPERATIONS and is relying on donations to fund the efforts. They have distributed Water and Food packs and will be in Kabakalan today. Next is Bais where we have a branch there which is also heavily damaged.
As LCCians, we live by the charisms we have been taught, among them is CHARITY. We, therefore, knock in your hearts and pockets as we ask you to SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS to the Odette victims now, especially this Christmas season.
Specifically, we ask for the following donations if in kind:
Water
Canned goods
Noodles
Rice
Hygiene kits (bath soap, shampoo, colgate, laundry soap)
Face Masks
DROP OFF OF DONATIONS AT LCC LOBBY, GALO GATE.
CASH DONATIONS MAY BE GIVEN TO DRA. PINKY AUJERO.
THANK YOU GID! GOD BLESS YOUR KIND HEARTS FOR OTHERS!
