Good morning, BCC Students!

Due to the prevailing **weather conditions**, the Administration has decided that **all classes scheduled for today, August 8, 2026, will be shifted to ONLINE modality**.

Students are advised to **coordinate with their respective instructors and check their official BCC email accounts, Google Classroom, and other designated communication channels** for instructions regarding their classes.

Please remain at home whenever possible and **prioritize your safety**, especially while the weather conditions remain unfavorable.

Further announcements will be issued should there be any changes or additional instructions.

TERTIARY EDUCATION SUBSIDY (TES) APPLICATIONS
A.Y. 2026-2027

In preparation for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) applications for this A.Y. 2026-2027, students who are interested to apply and are enrolled (or about to enroll) are requested to fill up the online form. This also includes the incoming freshmen students. For more information regarding your eligibility for TES please visit https://unifast.gov.ph/tes.html

"UNLOCKED: Creating a New Home, Welcoming a New World"

DATE: August 3, 2026 (Monday) | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
VENUE: BCC Taculing Campus — BSOA Grounds (Parade) to Activity Center (Program)

ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES:
• ALL STUDENTS — First-Year AND Upper-Year, are welcome and encouraged to attend the full activity.
• Students who have classes on Monday but wish to join: Officially excused from their classes for this event.
• Students who have NO classes on Monday: Encouraged to join but attendance is NOT required.
• Regular classes will resume at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
• Upper year students must wear ID | First year students present your COE at the Guard.

DRESS CODE:
• All students may wear civilian attire — neat, decent, and within proper school dress code standards.

The Bacolod City College family extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Raymundo Magbanua Gemoto, our former school driver. We are deeply grateful for his years of dedicated service, unwavering commitment, and the kindness he shared with the members of our college community. His contributions will always be remembered with gratitude and respect.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life lived in service to others. May the love and memories he leaves behind bring comfort to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen."

In compliance with Executive Order No. 48, Series of 2026, issued by the City Government of Bacolod, and in consideration of the safety and welfare of our students, parents, faculty, and personnel, all on-site enrollment activities and other scheduled transactions at Bacolod City College on Friday, July 10, 2026, are hereby SUSPENDED.

The suspension is in response to the forecast of heavy rainfall and strong winds brought about by Tropical Cyclone Inday.

Please be advised that all affected enrollment activities and transactions scheduled for July 10, 2026, will be RESCHEDULED next week.

We encourage everyone to stay indoors, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official weather advisories.
