The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) awarded the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos an β€œOutstanding TVI Award” as part of its 30th Anniversary celebration at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel on August 30, 2024, marking a significant milestone in its mission to provide accessible, relevant, and quality technical vocational education and training (TVET) programs. The award was received by Rev. Fr. Romeo Ben A. Potencio, Jr., OAR (VP for Academics and Research), with Dr. Nena P. Samillano (Director, STEP Office). This award recognizes TESDA’s exemplary partners for their active support and significant role in implementing quality TVET in Region 6.
