United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) is the prime and duly recognized student organization of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP). UAPSA was established in 1989 as an arm and junior partner of United Architects of the Philippines (UAP - IAPOA), the integrated and accredited professional organization of architects in the Philippines. Its purpose is to motivate a

nd install discipline among architectural students and to propagate the goals and aspirations of all architects. Reyes, then Vice Dean of College of Architecture and 1989 President of UAP-SC, Silangan Chapter, organized the first official UAPSA with 24 students at the Central Colleges of the Philippines (CCP) with a UAP Certificate of recognition dated November 18, 1989. It was before a sub-committee under the membership committee of UAP, until in 1990 when the organization's policy on student's auxiliary was fully implemented, more UAPSA was organized in various colleges and universities and today it is recognized nationwide. Today, UAPSA is an organization known to cater to Architecture students, organize seminars, events and activities to empower them. With members from up to 65 different schools all over the Philippines, it is affiliated with over five thousand five hundred members.

Not every milestone is measured in awards—some are built through conversations, shared tables, and lasting connections.

On the evening of March 30, 2026, the Fellowship Night of NBEX 2026, hosted by the United Architects of the Philippines – Negrense Chapter, shifted the spotlight to the community. Architects, students, graduates, and industry partners came together in one space, not just to celebrate, but to connect.

The evening reminded everyone that architecture thrives not in isolation, but in synergy. And as the night unfolded, it highlighted how collaboration fuels the profession and strengthens netwroking; from exchanging ideas to planning future partnerships.

More importantly, the night served as a sincere gesture of gratitude. It was our way of recognizing the industry partners, sponsors, and every individual behind the success of NBEX 2026, whose support continues to open doors for aspiring architects and elevate the practice as a whole.

Moments of excitement filled the air as the raffle draw brought unexpected wins and shared laughter, adding a light and memorable close to a meaningful gathering. 🎁🎉

Congratulations to all the winners of the NBEX 2026: RA 9266 Movement, and a huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this moment unforgettable!

This event was more than just a competition; it served as a platform to advance awareness and appreciation of Republic Act 9266, the Architecture Act of 2004. By engaging students in this movement, the contest emphasized the importance of professional responsibility, ethical practice, and the protection of the architect’s scope of work. It reminds us that design is not only about creativity, but also about upholding the law that safeguards the profession and the public.

Through this initiative, NBEX 2026 strengthened the call for a more informed and empowered generation of architects—individuals who advocate for the integrity and legitimacy of the profession.

As part of the 3rd day of NBEX 2026, the United Architects of the Philippines Graduate Auxiliary highlighted the vital role of material suppliers in shaping the journey of emerging architects with a resource speaker.

Ar. Gracella Nangan, UAP, from Negros Occidental, shared valuable insights on how these industry partners influence design decisions, innovation, and professional growth, reminding us that architecture is not just about creativity, but also collaboration.

The program formally opened with remarks from Ella Pacete, UAPGA – Vice President for Planning & Development (Negros Occidental Chapter), setting an inspiring tone for the event. It was hosted by Clarz Salgado, UAPGA – President (Negros Occidental Chapter), whose leadership guided the flow of the program, and concluded with closing remarks from Ar. Roger Andre Aguilar, UAP

𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗔 𝟵𝟮𝟲𝟲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! ✨

We began with a warm and meaningful welcome from Ar. RATA, setting the tone for a day filled with learning and innovation. Afterwards, each group from La Consolacion College Bacolod, under the PPRAC 2 course of BS Architecture, showcased their creativity by presenting their own BRANDING of RA 9266 Movement merchandise—highlighting not just design skills, but also advocacy and purpose.

The event was beautifully concluded with insightful words from our guest speakers, Ar. Juesna and Ar. Rasmo, leaving us motivated and reminded of the importance of our role in upholding the profession.

A day full of ideas, collaboration, and passion for architecture! 💙🏛️
