📚 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘, 𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃. 🧮✨

The learning continues as 𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀 holds its 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫-𝐭𝐨-𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, once again bringing together our 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 and 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐏𝐈Ａ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 for another round of learning, collaboration, and growth in Integrated Accounting Fundamentals, this time in preparation for their upcoming midterm examination.

With the 1st Year students separated into different groups, the activities challenged them to apply what they have learned, test their strengths, and recognize the areas where they can still improve. Each challenge became an opportunity to think critically, ask questions, and strengthen their understanding of the fundamentals before taking on their midterms.

Serving as their mentors were our 2nd Year JPIA Officers, who shared not only their knowledge but also their own experiences as students who have gone through the same learning process. Through peer mentoring, difficult concepts became more approachable, and preparation for the examination became a shared effort.

More than strengthening accounting fundamentals, this initiative also reflects SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting meaningful learning beyond the classroom, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering collaboration, peer support, and knowledge-sharing between students across year levels.

As another peer-to-peer session comes to a close, the knowledge shared and connections built remind us that preparation becomes more meaningful when we help one another along the way. Every question answered, concept understood, and challenge faced brings our 1st Year students closer to stepping into their midterm examination with greater confidence and a stronger foundation. 💙💛

𝗨𝗦𝗚, 𝗥𝗦𝗢, & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, student leaders from the University Student Government (USG), Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), and School Councils came together at the Global Youth Summit 2026, held at SM Skyhall.

Bringing together young leaders from across Negros, the summit created a space for connection, collaboration, and meaningful conversations on leadership and the role of the youth in shaping their communities.

More than a gathering, the Global Youth Summit 2026 was an opportunity to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and inspire one another to turn leadership into meaningful action.

With different organizations and schools united by a shared purpose, the summit reminded us that when young leaders come together, ideas grow stronger, connections become meaningful, and possibilities become greater.

The journey of every future accountant starts with a strong foundation.

Through the 𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫-𝐭𝐨-𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, our 1st year students were given the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 through learning, collaboration, and guidance from their fellow students.

To better understand their current strengths and areas for improvement, the 1st year students were grouped and given activities designed to assess their knowledge and skills. More than simply finding the right answers, the activities encouraged them to recognize what they already know and identify the concepts they can continue to improve on.

Guiding them throughout the program were our 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐀 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, who served as peer mentors. Through discussions, explanations, and shared experiences, they helped make challenging concepts more approachable while creating an environment where questions were welcomed and learning became a shared experience.

This initiative goes beyond reviewing concepts and solving accounting problems. It reflects the value of 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, where knowledge is passed forward and students grow by helping one another.

After all, every accountant starts somewhere—and a strong foundation is built 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. 💙💛

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒅, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒆’𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒅. 💙💛

With the theme “𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔,” the 𝑱𝑷𝑰𝑨-𝑱𝑨𝑴𝑨 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒚 2026 brought together students from Accountancy and Management Accounting to celebrate more than just what we learn inside the classroom. Through games, activities, teamwork, and shared experiences, we were reminded that our journey as future professionals is not meant to be taken alone.

Accountants and Management Accountants may have different roles and perspectives, but both are connected by one goal: creating meaningful value through numbers, decisions, and integrity. This gathering showed that beyond the figures and financial statements, there is a community that learns, supports, and grows together.

From being grouped with people from different year levels to working together through every challenge, the General Assembly became more than just an event. It became a space where new connections were formed, teamwork was strengthened, and the balance between learning and having fun was truly experienced.

More importantly, 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔 reflects our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly 𝑺𝑫𝑮 4: 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, through learning beyond the classroom, and 𝑺𝑫𝑮 17: 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔, through collaboration, unity, and shared purpose between JPIA and JAMA.

Because sometimes, the most important things we learn cannot be found in a textbook or recorded in a ledger. They are found in the people we meet, the teams we build, and the experiences we share. ⚖️📖✨
