✨ A Night to Remember: Engineering Night 2026 ✨

Last April 30, the L'Fisher Hotel was transformed into a sea of light and legacy for our much-awaited Engineering Night! Under the theme "Lanterns Lighting the Way: Unforgettable Seniors' Memoir," we gathered to celebrate the journey, the struggles, and the bright futures of our graduating class.

It was a night of glitz, glamour, and heartfelt recognition as we honored the outstanding talents within our college.

From board exam topnotcher to shaping future engineers.👷‍♀️🏗️

Featured in today's spotlight as part of our Women's Month celebration is none other than Engr. Charlene Grace Gelotin.

After ranking 2nd in the November 2021 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination, Engr. Gelotin chose not only to build structures, but to build future engineers.

Today, she leads and operates High Rize Review Center in Bacolod, helping Civil Engineering graduates achieve their own board exam dreams.

Her story reminds us that engineering is not only about calculations and designs. Engineering is also about leadership, courage, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Dean's List Awarding Ceremony 2026 🏅🐯

The College of Engineering successfully held the Dean’s List Awarding Ceremony for the 1st Semester, AY 2025–2026 on March 24, 2026 at the UNO-R School Auditorium.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the inspirational message delivered by Engr. Quinzy Corr G. Dojoles, a Registered Electronics Engineer who graduated from UNO-R in 2024. She shared her motivational message to the students and spoke about perseverance, hard work, and preparing for the professional world. She currently works as Engineer I at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

The ceremony also included the awarding of medals and certificates to the Dean’s Listers in recognition of their academic excellence, dedication, and commitment to their studies.

Sofia Renee Reyes, a BS ECE IV student, gave the acceptance speech in behalf of the awardees.

Congratulations to all our Dean’s Listers. The College of Engineering is proud of your achievement and wishes you continued success in your academic journey.
