Duterte greenlights act renaming DHVTSU to DHVSU

Initially presented by the House of Representatives, Republic Act No. 11169 has taken full effectivity after eliciting the approval of President Duterte and the Congress last January 3, 2019.

Through this act, Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University will now be officially addressed as Don Honorio Ventura State University.

DHVSU will now be able to offer new curriculum in the fields of Liberal Arts, Legal Management, Law, Medicine, Allied Sciences, and Health-related programs in the near future.

For new curriculums to be offered, the University will still have to go through a rigorous process for these to materialize.

DHVTSU Advisory: Classes in all levels are suspended today July 9, 2018 due to expected heavy rains brought by typhoon Gardo. Non- teaching personnel are requred to be present. However, teachers are no longer required to report for work. Thank you. Keep safe. From VPAA
