Kamalayan, Unang Linya Kontra Droga

Sa bawat kabataang may tamang kaalaman, may nabubuong paninindigan laban sa panganib ng illegal na droga.

Sa isinagawang Drug Education Awareness Session sa University of Perpetual Help System DALTA–Molino Campus, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng kamalayan, tamang pag-unawa, at responsableng pagpapasya bilang sandata ng kabataan laban sa droga.

Ang tunay na laban kontra droga ay hindi lamang nakasalalay sa takot, kundi sa kaalaman, disiplina, tapang, at matalinong pagpili. Sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon at pagkakaisa, sama-sama nating itaguyod ang ligtas, malusog, at drug-free na kinabukasan.

Kamalayan ang unang hakbang. Paninindigan ang susunod. Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.

IN PHOTO| DRUG EDUCATION AWARENESS SESSION

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA– Molino ROTC Unit, through its dedicated Basic Cadets,Cadet Officers, and Training Staff,conducted the Drug Education Awareness Session on 15 August 2025.

The gathering continued with the Welcome and Program Rationale led by SSgt Michelle A Vincoy PA (Res), setting the purpose and significance of the activity. Followed by Mr. Muji Jaafar, the College POD as the Resource Speaker.

A key highlight of the session was the Drug Education Awareness and Prevention Advocacy Talk, led by Mr. Michael P. Miatari, MAEd, LPt, RPm, CESE, Chief of the Policy Studies, Research and Statistics Division of the Dangerous Drugs Board. The discussion provided valuable insights on drug education, prevention, and the importance of collective responsibility in building a safer community.

The program concluded with a commitment to a Drug-Free Community, followed by messages of appreciation and closing remarks, reinforcing the shared responsibility to promote a healthy, safe, and drug-free environment.

Together, let us stand with awareness, responsibility, and commitment toward a drug-free community.

‎On 15 August 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA- Molino ROTC Unit conducted the 4th Training Day of the Basic Cadets in line with activities and gatherings that facilitate the improvement of the young leaders together with the Advance Cadet Officers and Training Staff under the guidance and supervision of LTC WILFREDO T GAYLA GSC PA (RES).

The day began with the performance of Calisthenics, a series of exercises designed to improve cadets’ discipline and physical fitness. The Training Day also featured the lecture of Threats to National Security led by LTC WILFREDO T GAYLA GSC PA (RES), highlighting the importance of awareness, vigilance, and preparedness in addressing challenges that may affect the nation.
As the lecture continued, Sgt Jennie Babe Mangubat PA (Res) also lectured the Human Rights and Bill of Rights, which aimed to strengthen the cadets’ awareness of their rights and responsibilities while developing patriotism and preparing them to become responsible future leaders and citizens of the country.

These achievements mark another step forward for both organizations in developing well-rounded, disciplined, responsible, and active Basic Cadets committed to serving the community and country.
