𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦

Our third and fourth year students had the opportunity to participate in the third session of 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱’𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀, “𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀,” held on 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The session opened with inspiring remarks from 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, who emphasized that 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉. He reminded students that details matter, and once something is published, it can no longer be taken back because digital receipts last forever.

Students actively took part in an 𝗼𝗻-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲, where they were tasked to create content grounded strictly on verified facts, allowing them to apply ethical journalism principles in a creative format.

𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮 guided the participants through the fundamentals of column writing, while 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 discussed the importance and process of fact-checking, highlighting its vital role in responsible and credible journalism.

In support of LVCC’s pursuit of International Accreditation, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐚, 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙮 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨, together with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐚, 𝙈𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞-𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧, proudly took part in the 𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐒𝐀 – 𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫.

Joined by 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚-𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬,the study tour featured meaningful discussions on the practical applications of AI in student services, as well as its psychological and social implications on students.

The experience was enriched by a campus tour and benchmarking activity, showcasing innovative facilities for Visual Arts, Media Arts, and Communication programs—inspiring new ideas for student-centered and future-ready education.

As a significant step forward in our pursuit of offering a new academic program, representatives from the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗-𝗡𝗖𝗥) visited La Verdad Christian College, Inc. – Caloocan on November 27, 2025 to conduct an 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The team was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗣. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗶𝗻, 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗣. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘳 𝘐𝘐; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗣. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗛. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮.

Through the unified efforts of our administration, department heads, and compliance officers, the CHED evaluators were able to meticulously review all required documents and carry out a comprehensive assessment of our school facilities. Their visit serves as a driving force as we work toward meeting the standards for offering quality, and accessible education.

As we move forward, we pray that God continues to guide every step of this process. May He lead us toward our shared mission of providing 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to even more future scholars, God willing.
