University of the East ROTC Unit VISION:
To produce capable well-rounded reservists, efficient, commissioned officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

On 03 October 2026, the University of the East ROTC Unit, under the leadership of π‚πŽπ‹ π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ 𝐂 π„ππ†π‚πŽπ“ πˆππ… (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, conducted the 7th and 8th Training Day of Military Science 1 for Academic Year 2026–2027.

To officially commence the training day, the cadets proceeded in front of the UE Engineering Building for the accounting of MS-1 Cadets under the guidance of Sgt Rency Nathaniel M Bitbit PA (Res) and the Advanced Cadet Officers. Following the accounting, the cadets proceeded to their respective rooms for the scheduled preliminary examination.

After the examination, the cadets proceeded to the Old Academic Building for the scheduled lectures. The session continued with the lecture on Rule of Law, delivered by Sgt Dominic Brian D Nacianceno PA (Res), followed by Hygiene and Sanitation which was facilitated by Sgt Rency Nathaniel M Bitbit PA (Res).

π‚πŽπ‹ π€π‹π•πˆπ 𝐒 π€π’ππˆπ‘π€π’ 𝐀𝐑𝐓 (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, Director of the 1301st (CAMANAVA) Community Defense Center, arrived at the DMST Office accompanied by Mr. Allan Joyce D Aggabao, the Manila ROTC Coordinator. They were welcomed at the DMST Office before proceeding to observe the ongoing training activities and interact with MS-1 Cadets and Advanced Cadet Officers.

Upon completion of the scheduled lectures, C/2LT Luke D Mangampo 2CL conducted the second attendance of MS-1 Cadets at the UE TYK Lobby Area. Following the attendance, the cadets were dismissed, concluding the 7th and 8th Training Days with no untoward incidents reported.

On 26 September 2026, the University of the East ROTC Unit conducted the 5th and 6th Training Day of Military Science 1 for Academic Year 2026–2027 under the leadership of π‚πŽπ‹ π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ 𝐂 π„ππ†π‚πŽπ“ πˆππ… (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀

To officially start the training day, the cadets proceeded to the UE Caloocan Field to practice basic fundamental drills and platoon formation, under the supervision of Sgt Rodrigo V Vigo PA (Res). After completing the drills and formation exercises, the cadets proceeded to the TYK Study Area for the scheduled lectures.

The training day then continued with the 1st lecture on Followership 1, delivered by Sgt Janeiro V Del Rio PA (Res); followed by the 2nd lecture on Military Customs and Traditions 1 which was facilitated by SMS Ricardo M Manuel PA (Res). After a short break, the cadets resumed training with the 3rd lecture on Cybersecurity Awareness, delivered by Sgt Rency Nathaniel M Bitbit PA (Res). The session concluded with the final lecture on Military History, facilitated by Sgt Ean Lakshmi P Chua PA (Res).

After completing the scheduled lectures, C/2LT Luke D Mangampo 2CL and C/2LT Jeremiah Y Fronda 2CL conducted the second attendance of MS-1 Cadets at UE TYK Study Area. The cadets were then dismissed, marking the end of the 5th and 6th Training Day with no untoward incidents reported.

From lectures on the Standards and Conduct of a Soldier, Core Values, and Values Development to Drills and Ceremonies, the 3rd and 4th Training Day brought another day of learning, discipline, and camaraderie for the cadets.

The University of the East ROTC Unit officially received PHILARPAT uniforms for its Cadet Officers as part of the continued support for the ROTC Program.

The issuance of these uniforms promotes proper military bearing, discipline, and professionalism as our Cadet Officers continue their training and service.

The University of the East ROTC Unit extends its sincere gratitude to the Philippine Army and NCRRCDG for their continued support. We also extend our appreciation to our Commandant, COL FERNANDO C ENGCOT INF (GSC) PA, Assistant Commandant, CPT ALLAN REY D SALVADO (OS) PA (RES), Admin NCO, MSg Raul C Alag (SC) PA, and our dedicated Training Staff for their continued guidance and support in the development of our cadets.
