To ensure a smooth process for everyone in the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, please take note of the following guidelines:

Our automated system will only accommodate students based on their specific year level on these dates:

December 18, 2025: 3rd Year Students

𝐁𝐒 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐂𝐇𝐓𝐌 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐑𝐀𝐁 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐝, 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐭

The UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) formally turned over its winning tour package from the 2025 HRAB Travel and Tour Competition to the Municipality of Bokod, Benguet, this year’s featured destination of the college.

BS Tourism Management students Kaleya Kassandra M. Barcero and Jay Mark O. Juganas represented UC in the competition, supported by student assistant Anton Aloysius S. Alambra and guided by faculty coaches Ms. Kyra A. Emengga and Ms. Rose Anne B. Garcia.

The turnover aims to support Bokod’s sustainable tourism initiatives and strengthen collaboration with the local government. It also serves as UC CHTM’s expression of gratitude for the municipality’s assistance during the team’s ocular visit.

The ceremony took place on November 28, 2025, at the Bokod Agri-Tourism Booth during the Adivay Festival.

This milestone reinforces the college’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

𝐁𝐒 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤-𝐎𝐟𝐟

Students from UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management emerged as champions in the Kikkoman Challenge – Campus Cook-Off during the Kikkoman Food Expo 2025 held in Baguio City from December 2 to 3, 2025.

BS Hospitality Management students Jack Rhandel M. Casilla, Jade Athena A. Mariano, and Luigi Gabriel S. Romero led the winning team, supported by student assistants Shaira T. Madiaco and Argelyn Fate Oya. Guided by faculty coaches Ms. Liezel B. Tomaag and Mr. Axel Christian H. Balugo, the group not only secured the championship title but also earned the Special Award for Most Popular in Social Media.

The team impressed judges with innovative Filipino–Japanese fusion dishes crafted using Kikkoman products, showcasing creativity, technical expertise, and thoughtful culinary storytelling.

This victory underscores UC CHTM’s dedication to quality education (SDG 4), industry innovation (SDG 9), and responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), while preparing globally competitive culinary professionals.

Tourism Management students from UC College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, guided by their adviser Mr. Jessie W. Gaspar, Jr., took center stage as they presented a BLISTT-wide tourism program designed to spotlight the distinct cultural, environmental, and economic strengths of each BLISTT area. Their proposal emphasized integrated development while preserving identity.

The initiative reflects key Sustainable Development Goals closely tied to UC’s mission and its learners: SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential, innovation-driven learning; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by cultivating future-ready tourism professionals who can advance responsible local economies; and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) as students craft tourism strategies that honor heritage, empower communities, and promote sustainable, place-based development.

The event marked the Metropolitan BLISTT Development Authority’s Project PITCH debut on December 2, 2025, setting a bold, forward-looking tone that celebrated youth creativity while underscoring UC’s unwavering commitment to quality education and community-driven innovation.
