Per Article X of the Revised PICE-UCSC Constitution and By-Laws, the election process is traditionally held during a general assembly. However, to accommodate schedule constraints and ensure maximum participation for everyone, the outgoing officers and faculty adviser have opted to move the application and voting process online for a smoother, more accessible experience.

Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong has announced the suspension of face-to-face classes from Preschool to College, in both public and private educational institutions in Baguio City due to the effects of Typhoon .

The 2nd Hardhatting and Pinning Ceremony, held on July 6, 2026, was successfully conducted, bringing together students, parents, and faculty members, in celebration of a significant milestone in the journey of future engineers. More than a ceremonial tradition, the event recognized the dedication, perseverance, and commitment of every student as they took another step toward becoming competent, ethical, and industry-ready student engineers.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic and professional journey of our student engineers as they embraced the responsibilities and values expected of future engineering professionals.

The program formally commenced with an inspiring welcome address from Dr. Ellen Macabiog, Dean of the College of Engineering, who encouraged the students to uphold excellence, integrity, and commitment as they continue their engineering journey.

The ceremony was also graced by our guest speaker, Engr. Evangelista, who shared his remarkable journey—from being a student, to serving as a faculty member, and now making meaningful contributions in the engineering industry. His message reflected the true essence of 𝙏.𝘼.𝙆.𝘿.𝙀.𝙍. – Transitioning with Accountability, Knowledge, Discipline, and Engineering Readiness, emphasizing that accountability, knowledge, discipline, and readiness are the cornerstones of becoming competent and ethical engineers.

More than a ceremonial tradition, the Hardhatting and Pinning Ceremony symbolizes the transition from classroom learning to professional preparation. It serves as a reminder that every hard hat worn and every pin received represents a commitment to excellence, service, and lifelong learning.
