As we celebrate World Mental Health Day this October 10, let this be a reminder to check in on your friends, listen without judgment, and be gentle with yourself and others. Minsan, a simple โ€œUy, okay ka lang ba talaga?โ€ can mean more than we realize.

As dentistry students, we spend so much time learning how to care for others. Letโ€™s remember that caring also means looking after ourselves and the people around us. You donโ€™t always have to be strong, productive, or have everything figured out. ๐๐š๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š when you need to. Reach out when things get heavy. And remember that asking for help is never a weakness.

Your feelings matter. Your struggles deserve to be heard. And you deserve support, even on the days when youโ€™re not at your best.

Inspired by the rich tapestry of Philippine mythology, the PCC College of Dentistry brought the legendary ๐๐š๐ค๐ฎ๐ง๐š๐ฐ๐š and the moon goddess ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐š๐ซ๐ข together in a celebration of culture, creativity, and dentistry.

Our ๐ƒ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐š๐ซ๐ featured the mighty Bakunawa, ocean waves, phases of the moon, constellation stars, and celestial elements, all thoughtfully connected to the world of dentistry. The moon-inspired details symbolized the beauty of transformation and growth, while the stars and constellations reflected the guidance, aspirations, and bright future of the dental profession. Together, these elements created a visual story that united the wonder of mythology with the purpose of shaping healthier smiles and brighter futures.

Beyond its celestial design, the bulletin board also presented essential information about our college, including the organizational chart of the faculty and staff, DSO and DCO officers, the College of Dentistryโ€™s mission, vision, and objectives, the one-year development plan, financial reports, and the departmentโ€™s highlights and achievements. It served as both a creative showcase and an informative reflection of the collegeโ€™s leadership, goals, progress, and accomplishments.
