In accordance with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 135, and in view of the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), alternative learning modes for classes at all levels shall be implemented on September 10, 2026 (Thursday) in the areas covered by the Circular.

Accordingly, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management. - PCO

In line with the implementation of the 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗚𝗨𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, due to the continued heavy rainfall and haze caused by forest fires in Indonesia, the examinations scheduled today for all 1st Year students are hereby postponed.

The postponed examinations will instead be conducted on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

📢 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

In view of the Weather Advisory No. 23 issued by DOST-PAGASA at 11:00 AM today, August 28, 2026, forecasting heavy rainfall due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Benguet is among the areas expected to receive 100–200 mm of rainfall today.

For the safety and protection of our students, faculty, and staff, all classes and work at Acatech Aviation College – Baguio are hereby SUSPENDED starting 1:00 PM today, August 28, 2026.

🌧️ We encourage everyone to prioritize their safety and avoid unnecessary travel, especially in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and other rain-related hazards.
